Romania and Poland took the court in the evening. Poland quickly jumped ahead, finishing the first quarter at 26:9. They have only extended their lead to 54:24 at halftime. In the fifth minute of the final quarter, Poland reached the 100-point mark, ultimately closing the game with a 111:57 victory. The most efficient player was Tadeusz Wiśniowski with 22 points, three rebounds and one assist for an efficiency rating of 24.
The last two teams to step on the court today were Bulgaria and Slovenia. The host nation took the lead early and never looked back. By halftime, they had built a 16-point advantage (51:35), going into the last quarter with a 29-point difference at 77:48. Slovenia closed out the game with a high 98:69 victory. The most efficient player was Erik Ipavec with 18 points, five rebounds and one assist for an efficiency rating of 23.
